Cory Asbury is a worship leader and songwriter who joined the Bethel Music Collective in May of 2015. Cory was raised in the mountains of North Carolina where he developed a deep love for music and songwriting. He began leading worship at his local church at age fourteen, and from there launched into full-time worship ministry at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City in 2005.
Cory is most known for his latest album, Reckless Love, named after the single. Along with “Reckless Love”, the album features songs such as “Endless Alleluia” and “Water and Dust”, pioneering a soulful journey into the heart of the Father. He is also featured on Bethel Music’s Have It All album with his song “Son of God”, as well as numerous IHOP-KC compilation albums. His first solo album, Let Me See Your Eyes includes well-known songs “Where I Belong”, “So Good to Me”, “Always Faithful” and “Jesus, Let Me See Your Eyes”. Cory continues to lead worship regionally and internationally at various worship conferences and events.
Cory carries a passion to lead people into encounters with the love of the Father. His voice and songs create an atmosphere charged with the peace and power of God. His prophetic worship style is marked by rich spontaneous moments in God’s presence. In December of 2016, Cory and his family moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan, where Cory now serves as Worship Pastor at Radiant Church. Cory and his wife, Anna have been married for 11 years. They have three beautiful children – Gabriel, Lily and River.
